The scheme aims to enhance connectivity in inaccessible tourist and forest areas by installing ropeways. It provides a Capital Investment Subsidy of 40% up to ₹5,00,00,000/- to private investors establishing ropeway infrastructure with a minimum investment of ₹1,00,00,000/-.
