About SchemesForMe

SchemesForMe is a free, independent directory that helps people in India find government schemes they may be eligible for. We organise 4,704 central and state schemes by who they are for, by category, by state and by ministry, and give you a simple eligibility finder so you can shortlist what fits your situation.

What we are, and what we are not

We are an independent directory. We are not a government body, and we are not affiliated with any ministry or with the official myScheme portal. We do not run any scheme, we do not decide eligibility, and we do not accept applications. Our job is to make schemes easier to discover and then send you to the official portal to read the full details and apply.

How we help

Government scheme information in India is spread across hundreds of pages and is hard to search by your own situation. We take public data from the myScheme portal, organise it into clear categories and audiences, and add a finder so you can go from "who am I" to "here is what might fit" in a few clicks. Every scheme page links straight to its official page, where the authoritative eligibility, benefit amount, documents and application process live.

Honesty first

We show a plain summary and who a scheme is for. We do not invent benefit amounts, eligibility rules or document lists, and we do not claim a scheme is open or closed beyond what the data tells us. Always confirm the current details and apply on the official portal. If something here looks wrong or out of date, please write to corrections@schemesforme.com and we will review it. SchemesForMe is free for everyone. We never charge workers or applicants to search, to view a scheme, or to be matched.
